Began competing c. 1970. Lifetime bests: Snatch–341 lbs.; Clean & Jerk–424 lbs. Won following titles: US Champion; National College Champion; New England Champion (8 times); Bay State (Massachusetts) Champion; 3 Gold, 1 Silver Medals on European “Under 23” tour; Silver Medal in Silver Dragon Tournament, Cardiff, Wales; Silver Medal 1971 Teenage Nationals; Bronze Medal in Snatch, 1983 Senior Nationals; National Masters Champion. Founder/Coach, Winchester Weightlifting Club. At time of induction, Curt held 3 New Hampshire State Records, 1 New England Teenage Record, 2 Senior New England Records, 3 New England Masters Records. As of May 2013 Curt Cardine no longer resides in this area, but still holds the New England Masters Records in 105+ Kilos Class in Age Groups 35-39, 40-44 and 45-49.
